Hospital San Agustín hosts breastfeeding awareness event in Linares

The Hospital Universitario San Agustín in Linares, in collaboration with the Mamateta Association, held an event to mark European Breastfeeding Week. The initiative aimed to provide professional guidance and support to families regarding the initiation and maintenance of breastfeeding.

During the session, specialists addressed critical topics such as proper latching techniques and the relationship between breastfeeding and pediatric physiotherapy. Juan Alonso Cózar, head of the Pediatric Clinical Management Unit, emphasized that professional accompaniment is vital during the early stages of breastfeeding to help families navigate difficulties and make informed decisions.
