The Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos province in Argentina purchased a state‑of‑the‑art electro‑hydraulic surgery table for Hospital San Antonio de Gualeguay, investing more than 42.8 million pesos. The table features continuous manual and hydraulic movements, auto‑leveling, remote control and accessories that accommodate specialties such as general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, trauma, maxillofacial surgery and gynaecology. Hospital officials say the equipment will improve surgical flexibility, reduce operation times and enhance patient safety.
In Venezuela, the Dr. Raúl Leoni Hospital in Guaiparo, Bolívar state, received four new hemodialysis machines to create a modern renal‑care unit. Governor Yulisbeth García and health authority Edilio Maltés noted the machines will serve an estimated 350 chronic‑kidney patients each month at no cost. The delivery is part of a planned eight‑machine rollout, with a similar unit to be installed later at the Dr. Arnoldo Gabaldón Hospital in Angostura del Orinoco.
