Hospital San Benjamín receives 5 million pesos for ambulance maintenance

The Municipality of Colón has granted a non-reimbursable subsidy of 5 million pesos to Hospital San Benjamín. The funds are specifically designated for the repair and maintenance of ambulances used by the 107 emergency service.

Mayor José Luis Walser presented the funds to Hospital Director Marcos Luciani, noting that while the amount may not cover the total cost of repairs, it serves as essential support to ensure the continuity of emergency services for the public and roadside assistance. The assistance was formalized through Municipal Resolution No. 0129/2026 following a request from the hospital's administration.
