Hospital San Carlos announces special sessions to reduce medical waitlists

Hospital San Carlos has announced a special initiative to reduce patient waitlists across various medical specialties.

Scheduled sessions for gynecology, radiology, and dermatology will take place from August 19 to August 21, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Additionally, the Technical Unit for Waitlists (UTLE) will hold extraordinary sessions from August 17 to August 23, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., to address cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology. Patients requiring ophthalmology services will be transferred to the Ophthalmology Clinic in San José.

Hospital authorities have urged patients to ensure their contact information, including email, phone numbers, and addresses, is up to date to facilitate appointment notifications.
