Hospital San Cristóbal announces infrastructure and equipment upgrades

Hospital San Cristóbal in Ciénaga has reported significant advancements in infrastructure, medical equipment, and healthcare services. These improvements follow projects managed in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Government of Magdalena.

Key developments include the activation of a new tomograph for timely patient diagnosis and the delivery of two medicalized and two basic ambulances to strengthen emergency transport. The hospital is also working on upgrading health posts in Palmor, San Pedro de la Sierra, Cordobita, Sevillano, and Marceliano Brugés.

Additionally, a new project has been announced to provide specialized mental health care and integral support for rural youth in Ciénaga. The acquisition of new biomedical equipment is expected to improve the hospital's diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
