Hospital San Roque receives pediatric residency accreditation

The Hospital Materno Infantil San Roque in Paraná has received accreditation from the Sociedad Argentina de Pediatría (SAP) for its residency programs in Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Neonatology. The accreditation is valid for a three-year period from 2026 to 2029.

The recognition follows a rigorous evaluation process conducted by specialized evaluators who assessed scientific rigor, hospital infrastructure, resident well-being, and daily clinical practices. The Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos noted that this accreditation ensures high-quality training through universal curricular guidelines.

Hospital director Alejandro Calógero emphasized the importance of these residencies to the institution's identity. Evaluators noted that the accreditation aligns with a new paradigm in medical training, shifting the focus from meeting hospital needs to prioritizing the specific educational requirements of pediatricians.
