Hospital Santa Lúcia ranked 43rd among Brazil's best hospitals

Hospital Santa Lúcia, located in Poços de Caldas, has been ranked 43rd among the top 100 hospitals in Brazil in the ‘World’s Best Hospitals 2026’ list. This international ranking is produced by Newsweek in partnership with the data analysis firm Statista.

The evaluation is conducted independently and utilizes several criteria to assess institutional quality and performance. These include recommendations from healthcare professionals, patient experience and reported outcomes, and public quality and performance indicators.

Dr. Assad Aun Netto, director of Hospital Santa Lúcia, noted that the ranking is an external validation of the institution's work, emphasizing that it is based on data from patients and health professionals rather than self-assessment. The hospital has maintained a presence in this national ranking since 2022.
