Hospital Scaravelli conducts structural fire drill in Tunuyán
The Antonio J. Scaravelli Regional Hospital in Tunuyán, Argentina, conducted a structural fire drill to test its prevention systems and emergency coordination. The 40-minute exercise involved approximately ten emergency agencies from the Valle de Uco region, including firefighters, medical staff, and police.
The simulation involved a staged fire in a changing area, requiring the rescue of three victims presenting with burns and carbon monoxide poisoning. Following the drill, the simulated victims received primary care and were transferred to the hospital's emergency ward to evaluate the response of the various participating agencies.
