Hospital Universitario de Dénia to host physiotherapy conference

The Hospital Universitario de Dénia will host the I Physiotherapy Conference on September 8, coinciding with International Physiotherapy Day. The event aims to bring together professionals and researchers to analyze the evolution of the discipline and address new models of patient care.

Discussions will cover various medical settings, including hospital care, primary care, chronic illness management, intensive care units, neurorehabilitation, and tele-physiotherapy. The conference seeks to highlight the contribution of physiotherapy to public health and foster the exchange of projects to meet new healthcare challenges.

The session will be inaugurated by Juan Puig Larrosa, manager of the Dénia Health Department, and María José Tomàs García, Director of Nursing. Scheduled panels will address complex patient management, direct referral potential for community health, and specialized care in intensive care environments.
