Hospital Universitario de Valme opens new 1,122-space parking facility

The Hospital Universitario de Valme has inaugurated a new modular, multi-story parking facility, nearly doubling its previous capacity. The new infrastructure provides 1,122 spaces, increasing the total number of available spots at the hospital complex to 2,092.

Constructed through a private initiative public works concession by a UTE formed by AUSSA and ANRO, the project involved an investment of approximately 9.95 million euros. The 25,974-square-meter facility includes dedicated spaces for motorcycles, bicycles, electric vehicles, and persons with reduced mobility. It also features a 24-hour security system with 64 cameras. The vertical design of the new structure has freed up roughly 5,000 square meters of land, which may be repurposed for pedestrian areas and hospital access improvements.
