Hospital Universitario San Agustín offers special menu for San Agustín festivities

The Hospital Universitario San Agustín in Linares has developed a special menu for patients and staff to coincide with the San Agustín festivities on August 28. This initiative, led by the hospital’s hospitality, dietetics, and nutrition professionals, aims to humanize the hospital experience by connecting patients with local cultural events.

The menu features traditional regional dishes such as paella, lomo de orza, fried fish in marinade, and Russian salad, all adapted to meet the specific medical and pathological needs of the patients. Additionally, the hospital provides a breakfast of chocolate with churros to those cleared by the Nutrition Unit and gifts patients with small bottles of extra virgin olive oil (AOVE) to commemorate the city's fair.
