Hospitality leadership changes announced in Leipzig and Hamburg

Several leadership changes have been announced within the German hospitality sector.

Christian Müller has been appointed as the new Chef de Cuisine at Brasserie Le Grand, located in the Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel Handelshof in Leipzig. A native of Leipzig, Müller returns to his hometown following extensive professional experience in various regions of Germany and abroad, including Italy and Spain. His background includes roles at the Hotel Oranien in Wiesbaden and Burg Crass in Eltville.

In Hamburg, Christiane Kirchenbauer will take over as General Manager of Le Méridien Hamburg, effective September 1, 2026. Kirchenbauer, who previously worked for MHP Hotel AG, brings significant expertise in food and beverage management. Her career includes leadership positions at the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten, Schlosshotel Kronberg, and Roomers Baden-Baden. She succeeds Till Westheuser at the design hotel located by the Außenalster.
