In a separate development regarding luxury standards, the Michelin Guide has named five finalists for its 2026 Wellness Award. These nominees are recognized for offering regenerative sanctuaries that go beyond traditional spa services. Notable finalists include Les Prés d'Eugénie in France, which utilizes thermal waters and specialized wellness cuisine, and Schloss Elmau in Germany, which features multiple distinct spa retreats.
