Hospitality sector expands wellness and fitness services for guests and locals

The hospitality and sports sectors are increasingly integrating specialized movement and wellness programs into their service portfolios. In high-end hotels, there is a growing trend toward early morning activities, such as the ‘Slow-Stretch-Flow’ offered at Alpenrose Karersee or yoga sessions at Hotel Elisabeth. Some facilities, like Hotel Elisabeth, have begun opening these classes to external participants for a fee.

Water-based training is also becoming a central component, with venues like Alpenhotel Kitzbühel offering aqua-gymnastics in infinity pools. Additionally, the Seminaris hotel group has partnered with Hidden Gyms to allow external users to access fitness, sauna, and pool areas at select locations, including Berlin, Potsdam, Nuremberg, Leipzig, and Bad Boll. This initiative aims to optimize existing infrastructure and capacity during off-peak hours without requiring additional construction or altering standard hotel operations.
