Hospitality sector sees $200 million in hotel investments across Australia

Significant hospitality investments are reshaping hotel offerings in Australia, highlighted by a $100 million repositioning of the Adina Hotels portfolio and the opening of a new $100 million Little National Hotel in Adelaide.

In Sydney, Adina Hotels has introduced two new dining concepts following refurbishments at its Darling Harbour and Town Hall properties. Shoreline Kitchen has opened at the Adina Sydney Darling Harbour, featuring a Mediterranean-influenced menu led by Executive Chef Evan Prayogo. Meanwhile, Adina Sydney Town Hall has launched Bar Benevento, a southern Italian coffee and pasta bar managed by Anthony and Julian Izzillo.

In Adelaide, the DOMA Group has officially opened the Little National Hotel on North Terrace. This 21-storey development represents a $100 million investment and marks the brand’s first South Australian location. The hotel features 237 rooms, including the brand’s first-ever penthouses, a fitness centre, and a rooftop lounge offering 360-degree views of the city. Both the Adina refurbishments and the Little National project utilized designs from Bates Smart.
