Hospitals in Spain and Chile mark anniversaries and transitions

In Spain, the Cartagena Health Area is celebrating the anniversaries of its two main hospitals. Hospital Santa Lucía is marking 15 years of service, while Hospital del Rosell celebrates 55 years. To commemorate these milestones, local students from CEIP Azorín participated in a video project to share their perspectives on what hospitals represent regarding care and recovery. The initiative aims to strengthen the bond between the healthcare centers and the local community.

In Chile, the Hospital Clínico Herminda Martín is preparing for a transition as it marks 81 years of operation. Approximately 3,123 staff members are preparing for a progressive relocation to the new Hospital Regional de Ñuble. The transition involves familiarizing teams with the new infrastructure, installing medical equipment, and conducting rigorous testing on essential systems such as climate control, sanitary networks, and emergency generators to ensure operational readiness.
