Hospiz LudwigPark to host open house and dementia awareness events

The Hospiz LudwigPark in Buch is hosting an open house event on Sunday, September 6, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The event aims to introduce visitors to hospice work and the team through various activities, including musical accompaniment by Karsten Lange, coffee, cake, and a barbecue.

The program includes specialized workshops such as aromatherapy care, featuring practical insights into hand massages and the use of scents for relaxation, and palligraphy with Majken Rehder, which focuses on documenting personal biographies. A music therapy workshop led by Saskia Baumgart will also be held. Admission is free.

Additionally, an action day focused on dementia, titled ‘Understanding Dementia, Finding Support!’, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stadtteilzentrum Buch.
