Hossam Hassan to attend CAF conference and meet with Egyptian football officials

Egypt national team coach Hossam Hassan is set to participate in the CAF Strategy Conference in Cape Verde from October 7 to 9, 2026. The event is expected to include FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Hassan will join a panel discussion moderated by Arsène Wenger, alongside coaches from Cape Verde and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to discuss African teams' experiences during the 2026 World Cup and strategies for the 2030 tournament.

Separately, following a match against South Africa, Hassan held a meeting with Egyptian Football Association President Hany Abou Rida and Vice President Khaled El-Derendly. The meeting, which included team manager Ibrahim Hassan, focused on evaluating recent performances, discussing technical and administrative files, and preparing for upcoming official and friendly matches to ensure the national team is ready for future competitions.
