Hostišová opens new 24‑place children’s group with regional funding

A new children’s group called Na vršku will open in September in the municipality of Hostišová, Zlín Region, providing places for up to 24 children. The project costs about 30 million CZK, of which roughly 25 million CZK is covered by European Union subsidies and the Zlín Region contributes a 5 million CZK returnable grant from the "Obec v nouzi" programme.

The first year of care will be free of charge and meals will be supplied by the nearby primary and nursery school in Tečovice. Regional councilor for investments Miroslav Zemánek said the facility is good news for families, helping parents balance work and family life, while deputy governor Tomáš Chmela explained that the "Obec v nouzi" programme enables small municipalities to bridge financing gaps and bring projects to reality.
