HOT 05 Futsal takes Bundesliga lead after victory over Regensburg

HOT 05 Futsal secured a 4-3 victory against ESV Regensburg in a high-intensity Bundesliga match, moving to the top of the table with 16 points after six games. The hosts established an early 3-0 lead in the first half through goals from Oleksandr Sorokin, Dmytro Sorokin, and Maksym Pochebut.

The second half saw increased tension and disciplinary issues. Dmytro Sorokin received a red card for an act of violence, which club official Heiko Fröhlich expects will result in a three-match suspension. Despite the setback, Andrii Remenets scored a fourth goal for HOT 05, though Regensburg managed to pull the score to 4-3 in the final minute.

Following the win, HOT 05 holds a one-point lead over Regensburg and the defending champions, Stuttgart-Weilimdorf, both of whom sit at 15 points.
