Hot Wheels RLC members select 1989 Porsche 959 for exclusive release

Hot Wheels Red Line Club (RLC) members have selected the 1989 Porsche 959 as the second RLC Selections model for 2026. The decision was reached through a two-stage voting process involving both the vehicle model and its color finish.

The Porsche 959, a 1:64 scale diecast model designed by Brendon Vetuskey in 2023, secured 41.74% of the vote, surpassing competitors such as the Custom Corvette, 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, and Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. In the second voting round, members chose a Spectraflame Purple finish for the car.

This exclusive release (reference JLX18) features high-end details including an opening rear engine cover, a heavy ZAMAC body, a matte black metal chassis, a tan interior, and Real Riders BB wheels with gold hub details. The model is strictly reserved for RLC members and will not be available in general retail stores.
