Hotel Gołębiewski in Poland accused of faulty AC and water issues by influencer Książulo

YouTube influencer Szymon "Książulo" stayed at the newly opened Hotel Gołębiewski in Pobierowo, Poland, paying about 4,800‑5,000 zł per night for a premium suite. In a video that went viral, he reported that the room air‑conditioning did not work – temperatures rose above 30 °C despite the unit being set to 20 °C – and that water from the bathtub tap was yellow‑green and contained sediment. He also complained of long waits to reach staff, a failed attempt to move to another room, and a costly room‑service order used to cool down.

The hotel issued an official statement saying pre‑opening tests showed no defects, expressing regret that the stay did not meet expectations, and noting that its technical team acted promptly to restore the cooling system. The hotel said it has contacted the air‑conditioning supplier to investigate the cause and will use the incident as feedback to improve operations. The video attracted over 800 000 to 1 million views and sparked public criticism over the high price and service failures.

The dispute remains unresolved, with the influencer seeking a refund and the hotel maintaining that the issue is being addressed.
