Hotel Investment Partners eyes IPO to fuel growth

Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), a major owner of beachfront vacation hotels in Southern Europe, is considering a stock market listing to support its expansion. The company is currently valued between 6,000 and 6,500 million euros.

Founded in 2015 under Banco Sabadell to manage hotel assets inherited from the merger with Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo, HIP focuses on identifying aging but well-located hotels, renovating them, and increasing their market category. The firm is backed by major investors, including the American giant Blackstone and Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC.
