Hotel ISLET setouchi to open in Hyogo Prefecture

A new small luxury hotel, hotel ISLET setouchi, is scheduled to open in December 2026 in Mitu-cho, Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture. Located near the Seto Inland Sea, the hotel features 10 ocean-view rooms, all equipped with semi-open-air baths. Seven of these rooms also include private saunas.

The hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis with a concept titled ‘FOR THE READING BODY,’ designed to encourage guests to disconnect from digital information and reconnect with nature. The establishment will feature a ‘Reading Room’ and a specialized library known as the ‘Shijushishima Bunko.’

By taking over the existing ‘Nada Chuzanso’ property, the hotel aims to preserve the local culture and landscape of the Murotsu port town. The culinary program will follow a ‘farm-to-table’ approach, utilizing local ingredients from the Hyogo and Seto Inland Sea regions.
