Hotel New Otani announces Christmas Cake 2026 lineup

Hotel New Otani has announced its ‘Christmas Cake 2026’ lineup, available for pre-order starting October 1, 2026, at its Tokyo, Makuhari, and Osaka locations through Patisserie SATSUKI. The collection features several high-end options, including the ‘Extra Super Double Shortcake,’ which combines Hakata Amaou strawberries with Shizuoka mask melon and uses ‘Genmai eggs’ from chickens fed organic brown rice.

A new addition to the lineup is the ‘Amaou Fromage ~Noel~,’ a cream cheese cake featuring souffle base and Hakata Amaou strawberries. Other offerings include the ‘New Super Amaou Shortcake,’ which utilizes ‘Taiyo eggs,’ and the ‘New Extra Super Amaou Shortcake,’ which incorporates the hotel’s original ‘J-Cereal’ multigrain. For chocolate lovers, the ‘Super Opera Legere’ provides a 14-layer experience including espresso-soaked biscuit, dark ganache, and caramel butter cream.
