Hotel Okura Fukuoka to host dining etiquette workshops

Hotel Okura Fukuoka has announced a series of dining and etiquette workshops to be held in August 2026. The program includes a Japanese cuisine table manners class at the restaurant Yamasato, focusing on proper chopstick usage, vessel handling, and traditional etiquette.

Additionally, the hotel will host the Okura Kids Academy at the French restaurant Le Chandon. This program is designed for children in grades 3 through 6 and their guardians, featuring a sensory lesson on the five basic tastes followed by a lunch course where participants learn French dining etiquette, such as napkin use and utensil sequencing.
