Hotel Parador Punta Gorda concession process advances

The Ministry of Tourism is currently managing a process to grant a 15-year concession for the Hotel Parador Punta Gorda, located near Nueva Palmira. Unofficial reports suggest that the owners of Posada del Minero, a mining-themed tourist establishment in Minas de Corrales, Rivera, are among the two primary candidates for the contract.

The concession includes a property with 14 rooms, a dining area, a kitchen, and a heated pool. While the business owners are well-known in the Rivera hospitality sector, official confirmation from the Ministry of Tourism is still pending an administrative resolution.
