Hotel Plaža auction set for September 14

The first public auction for the sale of Hotel Plaža in Herceg Novi is scheduled for September 14, 2026. The sale process was initiated following a request from workers of the company Vektra Boka and carries an estimated value of 30.74 million euros.

The decision to sell the property aims to secure outstanding claims for former employees of the Hotel-Tourism Enterprise (HTP) Boka. This comes as Vektra Boka faces a continuous account block totaling approximately 10 million euros.

Legal representative Jovan Pejović stated that while the group of approximately 200 former employees is not insisting on the sale solely to collect their remaining 70,000 euros, they are exercising their legal right to settle claims from the debtor's assets. To date, former HTP Boka workers have recovered about 95 percent of their claims through court rulings. The auction occurs amidst ongoing proceedings involving multiple creditors regarding Vektra Boka's assets.
