Hotel Terme Merano celebrates history of celebrity guests

The Hotel Terme Merano is celebrating its upcoming 20th anniversary, marking two decades since the spa opened in 2005 and the hotel in 2006. General Manager Rudi Theiner noted the establishment's history of hosting notable figures, ranging from historical icons like Empress Sissi to modern celebrities such as Gerry Scotti and tennis star Jannik Sinner.

Sinner, who was named South Tyrol's Athlete of the Year, visited the facility last year. The hotel is recognized for its architectural design, featuring an exterior by Berlin architects Baumann and Zillich, and interior design by Matteo Thun. Key amenities include the Sky Spa, designed by Hugo Demetz, which offers views of the Alps and Merano's landscape, and a 22-meter heated infinity pool.
