Hotel Vilarejo Praia's Beer Fest boosts Rio de Janeiro tourism

The all‑inclusive Hotel Vilarejo Praia in Rio das Ostras will host the Vilarejo Beer Fest during August and September 2026. The event features chilled draft beer, special gastronomy, live music, a water‑park area called Aqua Vila, and family‑friendly activities such as the Turma da Alegria recreation program. Guests can also enjoy sunset performances, a beachfront lounge, and inclusive meals that include seafood buffets and traditional churrasco.

At the same time, the nearby city of Araruama in the Região dos Lagos is emerging as a prominent tourism destination. Its main attraction is the Lagoa de Araruama, the world’s largest hypersaline lagoon, which draws visitors for therapeutic baths, windsurfing, stand‑up paddleboarding and kitesurfing. The area also offers freshwater beaches, boat tours, light hiking trails, cultural events and a seafood‑rich cuisine, all contributing to growing local economic activity.
