Hotel101 expands into Africa with new development in Egypt

Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp. has signed definitive binding agreements for a country-wide development expansion in Egypt. The initiative will begin with the construction of an approximately 750-room hotel in Cairo.

The planned facility will be located in Hay Al Ashgar along Ahmed Zewail Road in 6th of October City, Giza. This location is positioned within the West Cairo growth district, providing connectivity to the Cairo Ring Road, El Wahat Road, and Sphinx International Airport. The site is situated near major landmarks, including the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Hotel101, a subsidiary of the Philippine-listed DoubleDragon Corporation, utilizes a standardized “condotel” business model. The expansion into Egypt represents a milestone in the company’s global growth strategy to enter Middle East and African markets.
