Hound13's DragonSword: Awakening hits 200,000 PC sales, Nintendo port confirmed

South Korean developer Hound13 announced that its open‑world action RPG DragonSword: Awakening sold 200,000 copies on Steam within one week of its July 23, 2026 release. The game has maintained a 90 % “Very Positive” rating on Steam and recorded a peak of 23,000 concurrent players. Hound13 said the title has amassed about 700,000 wish‑list registrations and will continue receiving updates, including UI and translation improvements, new characters, story content, and a DLC that will add a new area called “Floating Island (World 2)” after completing the current world.

The studio also confirmed a port of DragonSword: Awakening to an unspecified Nintendo console, and it has plans to develop versions for PlayStation and other platforms. These announcements follow strong early sales and a large, active player base worldwide.
