Houoh Roulette wins 46th Hakusan Daishoten at Kanazawa

Houoh Roulette, ridden by Yasunari Iwata, won the 46th Hakusan Daishoten (JpnIII) at Kanazawa Racecourse. The 7-year-old horse, a 5th favorite, secured its third graded stakes victory by making a decisive move from the back of the field during the second lap to take the lead at the third corner.

Iwata, a JRA jockey, successfully executed a tactical maneuver to overtake the second favorite, Cool Mirabeau, finishing 2.5 lengths ahead. Trainer Toru Kurita noted the horse's high energy during warm-ups and suggested the horse might compete in the Tokyo Daishoten later in the year.
