House Democrats release report on new rape accusation against Donald Trump

Democratic staff on the House Judiciary Committee have released a report detailing a new rape accusation against Donald Trump. The allegation comes from Beatrice Keul, a former Swiss beauty pageant contestant, regarding an incident she claims occurred in 1993 at the Plaza Hotel in Atlantic City.

According to the report, Keul met Trump at a beauty pageant in November 1993, where he allegedly promised to assist with her visa and admission to New York University. Keul stated she was subsequently introduced to Jeffrey Epstein, who identified himself as Trump’s “best friend,” before being led to a hotel room where the assault took place. Keul described the encounter as “brutal,” alleging that Trump forcibly raped her, causing physical injury and tearing her clothing.

The report notes that following the alleged assault, Trump reportedly reiterated his promises regarding her education and visa while demanding her silence, stating, “the show must go on.” The document, led by Representative Jamie Raskin, suggests the incident aligns with a pattern of conduct during Trump’s association with Epstein. The report does not include interview transcripts or explain why Keul’s account has changed from previous statements made to other media outlets.
