House House releases patch to boost voice chat volume in Big Walk
The German studio House House has issued an update for its multiplayer co‑op game Big Walk that raises the overall loudness of player voices that were previously too quiet. The patch targets microphones that produced especially low‑volume transmission, making nearby and mid‑range conversations clearer.
The update does not change the deliberately limited voice‑chat range, which the developers say is a core design element intended to encourage players to use alternative communication tools such as radios, hand signals, notes and signs. House House will monitor player feedback before deciding on further adjustments, and no separate volume controls for speech versus background noise have been added yet.
