House of the Dragon launches Season 3 as HBO Max adds ASL streaming for Season 2

The prequel series House of the Dragon is set to return with its third season in late June, opening with the highly anticipated Battle of the Narrow Sea. Showrunner Ryan Condan told reporters the episode will be "probably the craziest episode ever made for television," and lead actress Emma D’Arcy described the new season as moving at "100 km/h." Production for the opening battle involved roughly 15,000 stunt participants, 3,500 props, 25 tonnes of propane and a world‑record simultaneous fire stunt performed by 23 stunt performers.

Separately, HBO Max introduced an American Sign Language (ASL) version of all eight episodes of House of the Dragon Season 2, made available today in the United States. The ASL dub was performed by Sophia Morales and directed by Justin Jackerson. The accessibility feature arrives ahead of the Season 3 premiere, which is scheduled for June 21, and the series continues to feature its regular cast alongside new additions such as Tommy Flanagan and Dan Fogler.
