House of the Dragon Season 3 concludes with high viewership

The third season of House of the Dragon has concluded, marking a significant milestone for the Game of Thrones prequel series. The season finale, titled “The Treasons at Tumbleton,” aired on August 9 and received high praise from viewers, earning a 9.1/10 user rating.

Streaming data shows the series has dominated HBO Max, maintaining a presence in the platform's top rankings for over 150 days. The season premiere drew approximately 21.5 million global viewers in its first three days, with episodes averaging over 33 million viewers.

To celebrate the conclusion, the mobile game Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is hosting a special event featuring dragons from the third season, available through August 24. Additionally, physical media releases including 4K UHD and Blu-ray Steelbooks are planned for the season.
