Household cleaning methods for ovens and bathrooms
Various household methods are recommended for cleaning kitchen and bathroom surfaces. To remove grease from oven doors, a paste made of two tablespoons of baking soda and one tablespoon of liquid dish soap can be applied to the glass. After letting the mixture sit for several minutes, it should be rubbed gently and wiped away with a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth to prevent marks.
For bathroom maintenance, citric acid powder is suggested as an effective way to remove limescale from toilets, faucets, and shower screens. For toilet cleaning, dissolving two to three tablespoons of citric acid in hot water and letting it sit overnight is recommended. For faucets and shower screens, rubbing fresh lemon juice on the affected surfaces for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing with hot water is an alternative method. While vinegar and baking soda remain useful, these natural alternatives are noted for their efficacy against mineral deposits.
