Household cleaning tips suggest natural alternatives for laundry and sweeping
Various household cleaning methods are gaining popularity as eco-friendly and economical alternatives to traditional chemical products.
To replace industrial fabric softeners, experts suggest two primary methods. One involves diluting one liter of cleaning vinegar with one liter of water to remove soap residue and minerals from fabrics. Another method uses a dry mixture of one-quarter cup of baking soda, one-quarter cup of table salt, and 30 to 40 drops of essential oil to neutralize odors and soften textiles.
Additionally, a technique for sweeping involves placing a plastic bag over a broom. This utilizes static electricity to better capture light debris such as hair, pet fur, and fine dust, preventing particles from scattering or sticking to the broom bristles. This method is noted as being particularly useful for hard-to-reach areas like under furniture.
