In many modern homes, the proliferation of devices has led to a 'cable jungle,' with over half of people admitting to owning chargers without knowing which device they belong to. Approximately 82.9% of respondents have experienced a device running out of power at an inconvenient time, with many expressing a desire for fewer cables and more wireless capabilities.

Simultaneously, household energy waste remains a significant issue. Small devices left in standby mode, such as routers, chargers, and gaming consoles, can account for up to 10% of a household's annual electricity consumption. Common mistakes contributing to higher bills include leaving chargers plugged in without devices, using old appliances, and inefficiently setting refrigerator temperatures. Experts suggest that adopting better habits and reviewing electricity tariffs can significantly reduce these unnecessary costs.
