Houshou Marine to miss Hololive live event due to medical treatment

VTuber Houshou Marine will not perform at the upcoming ‘hololive RECORDS MUSIC STAGE 2027’ live event scheduled for January 9–10, 2027, at K Arena Yokohama. Hololive Production announced that the decision was made following discussions with the talent to allow her to focus on treating vocal cord nodules.

In a handwritten message, Houshou Marine expressed her regret, stating, “I am so sorry for withdrawing from this live performance. I really, really wanted to perform and see you all in person.” She added that she intends to focus on recovery to ensure she is in peak condition for her next stage.

Watame Tsukino will replace Houshou Marine for the Day 2 performance. The concert celebrates the first anniversary of the hololive RECORDS music label, which was established in July 2025.
