Housing Finance Bank appoints Moses Mande Oroto to lead business banking

Housing Finance Bank (HFB) has appointed Moses Mande Oroto as the new Head of Business and Institutional Banking. Oroto assumed the role in August 2026, aiming to deepen the bank's engagement with corporate, institutional, and business clients across Uganda.

Oroto joins HFB from Centenary Bank, where he served as Chief Manager of the Public Sector starting in February 2023. His career at Centenary Bank spanned over 20 years in various leadership and operational capacities, including roles as Manager of Corporate and Institutional Banking, Manager of SME Banking, and Credit Administrator.

The appointment is part of HFB's strategy to position itself as a long-term financial partner for enterprises by providing solutions tailored to expansion, investment, and sustainable growth.
