Housing information events announced in Gouda and Nijkerk

Various housing information events are scheduled in the Netherlands to assist residents with residential options and planning.

In Gouda, a new construction day is set for October 3 at the Westergouwe information center. The event focuses on the Westergouwe district, which is expanding into a complete neighborhood of approximately 4,500 homes, including social and private sector housing. Current projects available for purchase include Westerhof 2, Goudse Hof, and Goudse Linie. Future developments in Westergouwe III.B and IV will include diverse living environments ranging from urban settings to waterfront properties.

Additionally, the municipality of Nijkerk, in collaboration with several organizations, is hosting the ‘Prettig en Passend Wonen’ information fair on October 16 at De Stoutenborgh. Aimed at residents aged 55 and older, the fair provides personal advice on future living arrangements, such as single-story living or proximity to amenities. The event features housing coaches to help residents evaluate whether moving is necessary or if their current home remains suitable, with the goal of promoting mobility within the housing market.
