Housing ministries advance infrastructure and land management projects

In Peru, the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation, through the National Superintendency of State Assets (SBN), has strengthened technical assistance and supervision for the Regional Government of Arequipa. This initiative aims to improve the management of state-owned land to facilitate regional development projects and prevent unauthorized occupation or misuse of public property. The intervention includes field inspections and technical guidance on land registration, appraisals, and notary procedures.

In the Dominican Republic, the Ministry of Housing and Buildings (MIVED) is executing an integral intervention in the Los Praditos sector of the National District. The project, costing over RD$130 million, includes road improvements, drainage, LED lighting, and the recovery of public spaces such as parks and playgrounds. The works aim to enhance mobility and basic services for local residents through paving, landscaping, and urban remodeling.
