Housing ownership trends in Spain and urban management in Saltillo

In Spain, data from the Bank of Spain indicates that the rental market is predominantly composed of individual owners rather than large investment funds. According to 2024 estimates, 92% of primary rental properties belong to individuals, with 8% owned by private legal entities. Furthermore, 76.1% of individual lessors own only a single rental property, a group that accounts for 50.7% of all properties rented by natural persons.

In Mexico, the city of Saltillo faces challenges regarding public administration and urban infrastructure. While local government focuses on public spectacles and entertainment, residents continue to deal with fundamental issues such as water supply reliability, road maintenance, flooding during heavy rains, public transportation efficiency, traffic congestion, and pollution.
