Houston community events and fundraising initiatives

Various community events are scheduled in Houston, including Houston Restaurant Weeks, which runs from August 1 through September 7. During this period, approximately 350 local restaurants offer specially priced multi-course menus to raise funds for the Houston Food Bank.

Other scheduled activities include ‘Meet the Primes,’ a matchmaking and networking event for small business owners organized by the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance and the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, the Montrose Center will host ‘The Men’s Gathering,’ a support group designed to facilitate connection and conversation among gay Black men.
