Fátima Bosch faces potential arrest warrant in Thailand

Fátima Bosch, the reigning Miss Universe 2025, is facing a legal dispute in Thailand involving a potential arrest warrant. Thai businessman Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of Miss Grand International, announced via social media that legal proceedings are being accelerated against Bosch for alleged defamation, false accusations, and the dissemination of false information.

Itsaragrisil shared images of a purported police report from Bangkok to support his claims. The conflict stems from a public altercation during the Miss Universe 2025 activities in Thailand, where Bosch accused Itsaragrisil of insulting her and attempting to silence her after a disagreement regarding the promotion of the host country. Bosch has characterized the legal actions as an attempt at intimidation, stating, “defending your dignity should never become a reason for fear.”

The Miss Universe Organization has issued a formal statement expressing full support for Bosch, condemning any form of intimidation, humiliation, or mistreatment of women. While the legal process is underway, official confirmation of a finalized arrest warrant has not yet been released by Thai authorities.
