Houston Job Fair to feature 40 companies and 5,000 openings

The 2026 Greater Houston Job Fair is scheduled to take place on September 12 at the Hilton Houston Westchase. Organized by the Houston Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, the Houston Taiwan Young Professionals Chamber of Commerce, and the North America Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, the event aims to connect talent with various enterprises.

Organizers expect between 2,000 and 3,000 job seekers to attend. Approximately 40 companies will participate, offering over 5,000 job openings across sectors including engineering, R&D, IT, AI servers, supply chain, healthcare, and finance. Participating companies include Foxconn, Pegatron, AOI, Sino Biological, Cooler Master, Amy Food, and Panda Express.

The event follows significant investment from Taiwanese companies in the United States, totaling approximately $38.8 billion, which has increased demand for talent in the technology and manufacturing sectors. To support applicants, organizers are hosting workshops on AI-era resume writing and interview preparation.
