Houston Restaurant Weeks expands charity dining across city and state

Houston Restaurant Weeks, an annual August‑September fundraiser, invites diners to support the Houston, Montgomery County and Galveston County food banks. The 2026 event features dozens of local venues in The Woodlands and surrounding areas, offering menus ranging from $25 brunches to $90 multi‑course dinners.

In August, Pappas Restaurants added its own charitable program, covering more than 80 locations in eight states. Special menus, such as a $40 three‑course Tex‑Mex meal with a $5 donation at Pappasitos Cantina, and $65 fine‑dining options at Little’s Oyster Bar and Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen, contribute proceeds to local food banks. The chain’s casual outlets also donate per‑item, with $1 from a sandwich at Pappas Bar‑B‑Q or $1 per milkshake at Pappas Burger. "Giving back has always been part of who we are as a family," CMO Christina Pappas said.
