Houston Rockets prepare for Fred VanVleet's return from injury

Fred VanVleet is set to return to the Houston Rockets following a season-long absence due to an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. After receiving clearance to participate in full team practices, including five-on-five drills, VanVleet expressed confidence in his physical condition, stating, “I feel really strong and confident on the court.”

To manage his reintegration, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka plans to exercise caution, potentially resting VanVleet during back-to-back games early in the season to prevent injury. The team aims to build on a 52-win season, utilizing a roster that includes Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, and Kevin Durant.
